How to prepare your files for print

For the best results with your printed products please follow these guidlines.

File Format.
We accept the following file formats: TIF, JPG, EPS, PNG, PSD, AI, and PDF.

Resolution.
All file formats must have a minimum of 300 dpi. Print images need to be created at this resolution or higher, or there will be substantial drop in image quality.

Color Mode.
All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK color mode. All black and.white artwork and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode.

Fonts. .
a. Fonts must be embedded in .PDF files.
.............b. Fonts must be converted to paths in .EPS files.
.............c. Some fonts have copyright restrictions and will not embed in .PDF files.
.............d. Quark Express: Fonts and images must be included and will not embed in .PDF files.

Safe Zone.
All critical elements ( text, images, logos, etc.) must be kept at least 0.125" inside the ....................edge. Anything left close to the edge may be cut off during trimming.

Bleed.
Please build your press ready digital files by adding 0.125" bleed on all sides for all your products.

Example: a 2" x 3.5" Business Card would have a bleed size of 2.25" x 3.75"

What's Bleed?.
It is the portion of the product that will be trimmed off when cut to the final size.
